Collectors told to coordinate Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra on good governance

District Collectors in Rajasthan have been directed to coordinate the yatra on good governance being taken out by chief minister Vasundhara Raje in the entire state. Raje would be kicking off the Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra from the Charbhuja temple in Rajsamand on Saturday, August 4. 

The directions to the distinct collectors was issued on Thursday by additional chief secretary JC Mohanty. Officials helming the district administration have been informed of the chief minister’s upcoming tour schedule.

“Since, the chief minister will be taking the schemes of the state government to the public, launching new projects and dedicating completed works to the people, it has been asked of the districts to ensure a smooth execution of the tour,” an official said. 

CM Raje would be interacting with beneficiaries of different government schemes while on her visit that concludes in September in Ajmer. The chief minister would be touring 165 of 200 assembly constituencies covering a stretch of more than 6,000 kilometers. 

National BJP president Amit Shah will participate in the yatra flag off from Rajsamand. Shah would jointly address the crowd with CM Raje at a stadium in Rajsamand. The high-profile yatra is slated to conclude in Pushkar, Ajmer with prime minister Narendra Modi’s visit.
