CLAT: Jaipur boys secure top 3 ranks

Jaipur students have garnered top positions in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)-2018, results of which were declared on Thursday.

At the all India level, three students of Jaipur secured top three places while the fourth position went to a Jodhpur girl.

Aman Garg of Jaipur achieved the first rank at all India level while Anmol Gupta and Devansh Kaushik Gunshan both from Jaipur have secured second rank and third rank respectively. Gunjan Jadia from Jodhpur got the fourth rank.

There was an atmosphere of celebration at the houses of the toppers of the CLAT as the relatives and friends arrived to congratulate them. The three toppers, who have secured first, second and third positions have given credit for their success to their parents and the teachers. Aman, who received the top rank, told that his father is a RAS officer and he is currently posted in Sriganganagar.

“I stayed with my mother in Jaipur and prepared for CLAT-2018. During this time, my mother supported me quite a lot. My teachers also gave a lot of support,” said Aman. Aman, Anmol and Devansh are friends and students of the same institution.

This year, the examination was organised by National Law University, Kochi. The CLAT examination was held on May 13 for admission to 2300 seats of 19 national law universities. 

Students will be given admission in LLB and LLM courses at national law universities on the basis of the ranking in the examinations. 

59K wrote the exam

More than 59,000 candidates appeared for the CLAT across the country in which 4,636 were from Rajasthan. This examination was conducted at 15 centres in Jaipur.
