BJP announces election management panel for Rajasthan

Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat is committee convenor while union minister Arjun Ram Meghwal and BJP leader Satish Punia have been made co-convenors.

The BJP has declared its election management committee for Rajasthan. The committee comprising 16 members would be headed by state president Madan Lal Saini. Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat is committee convenor while union minister Arjun Ram Meghwal and BJP leader Satish Punia have been made co-convenors. 

The other members of the committee are chief minister Vasundhara Raje, home minister Gulab Chand Kataria, former party president Ashok Parnami, ministers Arun Chaturvedi, Rajendra Rathore, Younus Khan, Union minister CR Choudhary, BJP leaders Onkar Singh Lakhawat Kalu Lal Gurjar, and MPs Narayan Pancharia, Kirodilal Meena and Om Birla. 

The list was announced by National General Secretary Arun Singh late on Thursday evening while Madan Lal Saini confirmed the declaration. 

Conspicuous by their absence on the list are national vice president Om Mathur and national general secretary Bhupender Yadav. Both are Rajya Sabha MPs from Rajasthan.

Saini To Lead

The election management committee for Rajasthan comprising 16 members would be headed by state president Madan Lal Saini. Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat is committee convenor.
