Vijay Diwas observed in Puducherry

Puducherry unit of the Ex-Services League, an association of ex-servicemen and volunteers of NCC paid homage at the memorial of war heroes on the occasion Vijay Diwas today.
   
It was on this day in 1971 the country`s armed forces registered a historic victory over Pakistan in the Bangladesh Liberation war.
  
They laid wreaths at the memorial and paid homage to the great heroes of the country.
