Uttarakhand roadways employees to go on strike from October 16

Alleging that the Uttarakhand government is not accepting their demand of extending benefits of sixth pay commission, state Roadways employees today threatened to go on strike from 16th of this month.

Secretary of state roadways employees morcha Vijay Kumar said that they are being denied the benefits of the sixth pay commission, despite its recommendations being already implemented for other government employees.

Kumar said that the employees would take mass leave on October 14 and 15 and go on strike from October 16 in support of their demands.
