Two persons shot dead in Punjab

Two persons were shot dead and another injured when six motor-cycle borne armed men attacked them at Deudhar village in the district, police said here.
   
Rashpal Singh and his gunman Ajit Singh were shot dead by six armed men last night allegedly over some property dispute, while the third person was seriously injured, they said, adding the assailants later escaped from the spot.
   
An FIR was lodged by Kuldeep Singh, brother of Rashpal, former village head, in which he had named Mandeep Singh, Karamjit Singh (both brothers) and Gurmit Singh, all are residents of Daudhar village as accused.
