Two militant hideouts busted in Jammu & Kashmir

Two militant hideouts were busted and a large cache of ammmunition and explosives including grenades recovered from them by the security forces in Poonch and Ramban districts of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.
     
While the Rashtriya Rifles and Territorial Army jointly busted a hideout yesterday in Tindura belt of Poonch district, another was found by security forces today in a forest near Banihal in Ramban district, a police spokesman said.

The recoveries from the hideout in Poonch district included 35 rounds belted PIKA ammunition, 13 rounds loose PIKA ammunition, one AK magazine, 26 rounds of AK ammunition and three chinese grenades.
     
The recoveries from the hideout in Ramban district yielded two AK magazines, 89 rounds, two Under Barrel Grenade Launchers (UBGLs), five detonators and eight gelatin rods, the spokesman said.
