Two government employees were today killed, while another was injured when a jeep in which they were travelling in rammed into a tree in Sarai Akeel area.

Two government employees were today killed, while another was injured when a jeep in which they were travelling in rammed into a tree in Sarai Akeel area, police said here today.

Block development officer Chattrapal Singh died on the spot, while project officer Chotte Lal Pandey succumbed to injuries at a hospital in Allahabad this morning, they said, adding social welfare officer SK Rai was seriously injured in the incident.

The mishap occurred when the officials were on their way to Allahabad.
