Two girls feared drowned in the Ganga in West Bengal

Two girl students were feared down in the Ganga at Shantipur's Barabazar ghat in Nadia district today, police sources said.

The two girls - Sangita Roy, 13, and Dipali Roy, 14, - class six students of Baigachi Vivekananada Vidyapith went to the Barabazar ghat on cycle to take bath, the sources said.

The girls residents of Chowdhury para area of Shantipur are feared drowned, the sources said adding search operation has been launched to trace their body.
