Twice the fun at MY FM birthday party

Goodies for listeners, time spent with senior citizens of old age homes and lots of other activities and special initiatives marked the second birthday of MY FM Radio, which brought listening to radio back in vogue.

Listeners won food vouchers, mobile phones, steam irons and non stick pans among others as they participated in various contests.

MY FM turned two on July 21. The station's RJs brought some cheer to the residents of an old age home when they spent a day with them and also entertained them.

Amdavadis got to earn some hard cash as RJ Aftab spent the last four days roaming the streets of Ahmedabad hosting 'cash pe dugni aish'. Under the scheme lucky Amdavadis got double the amount of the highest value note stacked in their wallets.

 "Our initiative is our way of doing something for the society and our listeners, who have made us the No 1 radio station in the city" said a MY FM RJ. 

Meanwhile, the MY FM staff also had a huge birthday cake ordered for the occasion.
An employee of the radio station said it has been a wonderful two years.  "MY FM has gone from strength to strength and all this has been possible because of the love of our listeners and our team," said the employee.

Amdavadis will continue to Jiyo Dil Se with MY FM.
