Three killed in a road accident in Bihar

A speeding truck pushed a truck trolley from behind crushing to death three persons and injuring two others who were repairing it near Mohania sub-division of Kaimur district late last night, police said. All of them were residents of Kathua district in Jammu and Kashmir.

The victims have been identified as Ramesh Kumar Bhagat (25), Mohan Lal Sharma (25), both truck drivers and Gulshan Kumar (20), the cleaner, Mohania deputy superintendent of police Pankaj Sinha said.

The two truck trolleys were returning to Gurgaon after offloading cars in Kolkata when one of them developed mechanical problem at Mohania. The drivers, cleaners and other people were trying to repair the engine when a truck pushed the truck trolley from behind which crushed the persons who were repairing the vehicle.

The injured have been admitted to a private hospital in UP's Chandauli district by a driver of another trolley truck which was passing through the area. The police have detained two persons in connection with the accident.
