The Supreme Court (SC) directed the Centre on Friday to constitute a three-member team to monitor day-to-day work of Prasar Bharti, which is under the central vigilance commission (CVC) scanner for corruption.
Till now, its CEO BS Lalli was in complete control.
The three-member team would comprise Lalli and a member each from the finance and personnel departments. The court passed the order upholding an arrangement suggested by the Delhi high court (HC).
The arrangement will be in place till SC disposes of Lalli’s plea against HC order.
