Sunderlal Bahuguna hospitalised in Dehra Dun

Noted environmentalist Sunderlal Bahuguna has been hospitalised here after he complained of stomach ache.

The 82-year-old complained of stomach ache yesterday following which he was admitted to a private hospital, his family said today.

The condition of Bahuguna is now improving, they said.    

Bahuguna founded the Chipko movement which was aimed at protecting trees and protecting forest land from being destroyed.
