Student jumps down from school building to commit suicide

A plus two girl student allegedly committed suicide by jumping down from the terrace of the three-storeyed school building here.

Police said, the 17-year-old girl took this extreme step as she was caught red handed while copying during a laboratory test in the school last evening.

She was immediately taken to a private hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries in the early hours of today, they said.
