Two brothers tested positive for swine flu in the city whereas one SP MLA was quarantined after he showed symptoms of the deadly disease, health officials said here today.

Farzan (9) and Aman (7), sons of a city-based businessman, had gone to Delhi recently. Their samples were taken on Monday and sent to Sanjay Gandhi PGI the same day, reports of which come out as positive.

This is the first reported case in the city.

Their school, Kangaroo Kids, has been closed, chief medical officer(CMO) A Nagaich told reporters today and informed that the kids have been quarantined at their home.

Meanwhile, SP MLA of Arya Nagar, Irfan Solanki Hal, was quarantined in his house after he showed symptoms of swine flu upon his return from Pune and Mumbai.

His blood sample report is expected on Saturday.

Nagaich added that health officials are taking all precautions and the city has enough medicine and other facilities to tackle the disease.
