Seven-year-old girl killed in suspected human sacrifice case

In a suspected case of human sacrifice, a seven-year-old girl was kidnapped and killed in Dhammaur area, police said.

The mutilated body of Sheelu, who was missing since April 18, was recovered from a field in Manbhawna village this morning, SP Alankrata Singh said.

The body has been sent for autopsy and further investigation is on.

The police station in-charge of the area, PL Verma, has been suspended for allegedly showing laxity in the investigation into the case.
