Ruling NDA in Bihar today accused opposition RJD and Congress of conspiring to bring the state under central rule, which, it said, was evident from the behaviour of the parties' MLAs in the two houses of the legislature.

"RJD and Congress are conspiring to bring the state under central rule in a bid to indirectly capture power in Bihar," Bihar NDA convenor NK Yadav told reporters in Patna.

Alleging that the MLAs of the two parties took the two houses of the state legislature to ransom by creating unruly scenes, disrupting proceedings, overturning tables and chairs, tearing papers and even throwing slippers at the speaker's podium, Yadav said "It reflects that the two parties are out to destabilise the state government doing good for people."

"People of the state have already rejected the two opposition parties and their dream of capturing power will come a cropper as they stand exposed everywhere in the society," he claimed.

Bihar BJP chief CP Thakur and his JD(U) counterpart Vijay Kumar Choudhary said the acts of the MLAs of the two parties reminded the people of 'jungle raj and reign of terror' unleashed by RJD and Congress in Bihar for 15 years.

"People of the state are favourably inclined to ensure victory of NDA for a second term," they added.
