Raman Srivastava to be next BSF DG

Raman Srivastava, a 1973 batch IPS officer, will be the next director general of Border Security Force.

Srivastava will take over the post after incumbent ML Kumawat retires on July 31.

Srivastava, currently holding the post of special secretary (internal security) in the home ministry, belongs to the Kerala cadre and will hold the charge of BSF till his superannuation on October 2011 or further orders, an official statement said.
