Rajkot business men held after police raid a beer party

Vastrapur police busted a beer party early on Monday morning in a hotel room at SG Highway, where they nabbed two Rajkot based businessmen and two girls.

During night patrolling, Naimkhan, sub-inspector of Vastrapur, learned about a liquor party which was taking place inside a room of Eden Hotel on SG Highway.

Acting on the tip-off, Naimkhan and other cops raided the hotel room at about 3:30am and nabbed all the four.

Both the arrested businessmen, Kamal Patel, 38, and Vishal Chandarana, 24, are residents of Rajkot. The arrested girls are Snehal Gohil, 35, and her cousin Bijal Khadka, 24, both residents of Indraprastha Tower in Drive-In area.

According to the cops, Kamal Patel is in the construction business and came to Ahmedabad with his friend Vishal Patel, who works as a stock broker. Kamal and Snehal are old friends and studied in the same college in Rajkot. He was on a visit to the city and asked Snehal to meet him at Eden Hotel for a party. Snehal went there with her cousin Bijal.

In the raid, police seized 3 empty and 3 sealed tins of beer from their room. The cops have arrested the four and have sent them for medical test.
