Preparations on for LK Advani's rally in Bangalore

Ruling BJP in Karnataka has launched hectic preparations for the LK Advani's Jan Chetna Rally to be held in the city on October 30.

State unit BJP President KS Eshwarappa today launched a website created to provide information on the rally and also e-News Letter, stated to be the first of its kind initiative by a political party in the country to inform people via internet on its activities.

The BJP plans to reach one lakh internet users through e-News Letter in the first year and five lakh by next year, Channa Mallikarjuna, In-charge of its IT wing, said after the launch.

BJP General Secretary Prahallad Joshi, MP, said the party has been holding a series of meetings with its frontal organisations to make the Advani rally a grand success.

Eshwarappa said Advani would arrive in the city on October 30 morning and address the rally at National College Grounds in the evening.

The next day, Advani would address public meetings at Mangalore and Udupi and on November 1 at Kumta and Honnavara.
