One person was injured when a group of armed men fired at pilgrims, who were forced to come out of the car they were travelling in during a robbery incident on Barot-Budaha road in Bagpat district.
The incident took place last night when seven pilgrims, who were travelling to Haridwar, were forced to part with cash and valuables, police said today.
The driver of the car, who was injured in the firing, was rushed to the hospital in a serious condition.
Police have registered a case and investigations are on to nab the accused.
