Nithyananda's anticipatory bail application posted for orders tomorrow

The bail application of self styled godman Nithyananda, embroiled in a sex scandal, has been posted to tomorrow by a Bangalore sessions court.

When the case came for hearing before the Ramanagarm court today, Judge Hungund posted it to tomorrow.

On april 15, the Karnataka high court had adjourned to April 21, hearing of a petition by Nithyananda,praying for quashing of criminal cases filed against him.

Nithyananda had recently announced that he was quitting as the head of his ashram in Karnataka and associated trusts to lead a life of 'spiritual seclusion'.

Nithyananda, who is at large ever since video clippings of his alleged sleaze acts involving an actress were telecast by private channels on March 2, has claimed that he is innocent.
