Nigerian held for living illegally in Dehradun

A Nigerian national has been arrested for residing in the country on alleged fake visa documents, police said today.
    
The Nigerian, identified as Nice Onyekewna Ohiaigu, was arrested yesterday from a hotel here when the police went there during a verification drive.
    
On suspicion, the police interrogated Ohiaigu during which he confessed that he came to India on a three-month tourist visa but never went back home.
    
Ohiaigu said he prepared a forged visa papers through computer and started living here illegally, they said, adding a case has been registered against him.
    
A South African citizen was arrested from here on Saturday also for living illegally in the country.
