New women police station for East Godavari in Andhra Pradesh

"The Andhra Pradesh government has sanctioned two police stations including one Women police station for East Godavari district," the DSP G Srinivas said.

"According to the DIG (Eluru range) Mahesh Bhagwat, the district will be getting another women police station in addition to the existing one," Srinivas told reporters here.

"The new women police station will be set up at Rajahmundry," he said adding that a women police station is already functioning at the district headquarters at Kakinada.

The new police station will be set up at Madurapudi.
