A mock funeral procession of an IAS officer, who allegedly sodomised a panchayat secretary at his office last week, was taken out here today.
Madhya Pradesh Panchayat Secretaries Association (MPPSA) took out a procession from Patrakar Bhawan to Rang Mahal crossing where the effigy of Bhopal District Janpad CEO and IAS oficer Gyaneshwar Patil was set on fire.
"We want that Patil should be immediately booked and we have submitted a memorandum to State home minister Jagdish Devda, Divisional Commissioner and others in this regard," MPPSA president Dinesh Sharma said.
He said that that it was shocking that the police under pressure have not yet booked the IAS officer, six days after he was caught on the camera with his pants down with Sikandarabad Panchayat Secretary Satish Chouksey on June 18 night.
Sharma alleged that Patil had sexually exploited Chouksey who had lodged a complaint in this regard with the police.
