Militant supporters arrested in Jammu & Kashmir

Four militant supporters were arrested by the Special Task Force (STF) and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir today.

Four militant supporters were arrested by the Special Task Force (STF) and security forces in Kishtwar and Doda districts of Jammu and Kashmir today, police officials said.
    
A joint team of Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and STF raided a hideout in Majherno-Patnazi area in Kishtwar district and arrested three militant supporters- Mohammad Hussain, Kalu Mohammad and Mohammad Abdullah, the officials said.

They were later taken to a joint interrogation cell of STF at Jawalapur, they said.
    
Another joint team of RR and STF apprehended Abdul Gani Wani, a militant supporter of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) in Aldhar-Udhianpur area of Doda district, they said.

All of them worked as either guide, couriers or informers of militants operating in the twin districts, they said.

In another incident, Army troops today busted a militant hideout in Lancha-Budhan forest area of Rajouri district and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from there, defence sources said.
    
Acting on a tip off, a team of Rashtriya Rifle (RR) busted the hideout and recovered two under barrel grenade launchers (UBGL), 60 rounds of AK rifle, ten Chinese grenades and one rocket, they said.
    
However, no one was arrested in this connection.
