Man posing as IAS officer arrested in Ghaziabad

A man allegedly impersonating as an officer of the Indian Administrative Service was arrested, police said here.

Jai Singh was arrested last evening here when he posed himself as the district magistrate of Gaziapur in Uttar Pradesh, senior superintendent of police Raghubir Lal said.
    
A fake identity card was recovered from Singh and he used to travel in a car fitted with blue beacon, Lal said, adding that with the help of local police Singh used to get free service at hotels wherever he stayed.
    
He had already been jailed twice on the same charge, Lal added.
