Man held for trying to rape minor daughter in Dehradun

A man was arrested for allegedly trying to rape his minor daughter at Sahaspur area near here, police said today.

Surendra Prasad was arrested following a complaint by his wife in this regard yesterday, they said.
    
Prasad's wife has alleged that her husband tried to rape their minor daughter when she was alone in the house, they said.

Last year too, he made a similar attempt on her daughter but later apologised to his wife for his shameful act, she claimed.
