Live grenade recovered, defused in Poonch

A live grenade was recovered in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir which was later defused by the security forces, officials said here today.

Some villagers saw the grenade attached with wires in Kaprila area of Poonch district and informed the security forces, they said.

Security forces rushed to the spot and recovered the device, they said, adding it was later defused safely thus averting a tragedy.
