Landslide kills army jawan in Leh

An Army jawan today died after being hit by a heavy boulder during a landslide in Leh district of Jammu and Kashmir, a police spokesman said.

Baghwan Singh of Garwal rifles was on duty at Siachen base camp Nobra, nearly 500 kms from here, when a boulder of a landslide hit him, killing him on the spot, the spokesman said.
    
He said police have registered a case and investigations were on.
