Kidnapping drama foiled in Surat

A man working as a servant in a saree shop in Surat was caught for faking a kidnapping to sell off the sarees he was to deliver from the shop to another place. The kidnapping bid was busted by the cops within hours of receiving the information.According to information, Daulat Rajput, a resident of Muktidham society, Puna village works as a servant at Nakshatra Fashion, at Shiv-Shakti Textile Market.

On Sunday morning, Dushyant Jain, the owner of the shop, had asked Rajput to deliver 76 sarees to shop at Bombay Market. But even after four hours, Rajput did not return to the shop.A tensed Jain called Rajput on his cell phone who said that he was kidnapped by five Muslim youths and that he is in their custody. He told Jain that youths have locked him in a room and has also taken away the bundle of sarees, given for delivery. Jain then contacted the cops and narrated the incident.Police officials cracked the kidnapping bid but were surprised to find that he had faked it.
