Grappling with the turmoil in the party in Karnataka, BJP's central leadership today summoned chief minister BS Yeddyurappa whose ouster the dissidents are demanding in what appeared a final attempt to defuse the week-old stalemate.

Yeddyurappa told reporters that he would be leaving for Delhi tomorrow evening or Thursday morning and added he would abide by any decision of the central leadership.

"I will go to Delhi tomorrow or Thursday morning", the chief minister said when asked if he has been summoned by the party's central leadership.

"I just now spoke to (senior party leader) Venkaiah Naidu. He told me about so many developments in Delhi. I will go and discuss it with national leaders". Yeddyurappa expressed confidence that the crisis would be resolved. "Every thing will be clear".

Asked if he was ready for a "compromise formula", he said he would discuss with the party's central leadership. On the dissidents' demand for dropping some ministers and cancelling transfer of officials, he said he did not want to discuss the issue with the media.

On dissident MLAs camping in Hyderabad and Goa ignoring their constituencies hit by floods, the Chief Minister said he would tour those segments from November seven and seek suggestions from the public on what needs to be done with them.
