JD(U) announces third list of 11 candidates

The JD(U) today announced its third list of 11 candidates to take the total number of its candidates in fray to 138 for the Bihar assembly polls. 

According to the third list of candidates released by the JD(U) General Secretary Ravindra Singh, Jitendra has been nominated from Ashtawa assembly seat, while Sunil Kumar will contest from Biharsarif.

Rajiv Ranjan has been made the JD(U) nominee from Islampur assembly constituency, while Usha Sinha will contest from Hilsa and Shrawan Kumar from Nalanda.

The JD(U) has put up Hari Narayan Singh as its nominee from Harnaut, while Ajay Singh will contest from Fatuha. 

Arun Majhi will be the JD(U) candidate from Masaudhi and Ram Dhani Singh from Kargahar, while Abhiram Shamra and Rameshwar Paswan has been nominated from Jehanabad and
Sikandara assembly constituencies.

Meanwhile, the chief minister Nitish Kumar will kick up the campaigning for the JD(U) candidates from Madhepura from October eight next, Singh said, adding the former will camp there for five days for electioneering purposes for the ruling party candidates in the fray for the first phase. 

Kumar will fly by a helicopter to the venues of public meeting or travel by road depending on his convenience, the JD(U) general secretary said.    

The chief minister will fly out from Patna to campaign for candidates in the fray for the second phase of elections, while he will camp at Betiah and Bhagalpur for two days each for campaigning in the third and fourth phases of elections, he said.
