Jaya Bachchan does not understand politics: Amar Singh

Firing a fresh salvo at actor-turned-politician Jaya Bachchan, expelled SP leader Amar Singh, who was once considered a family friend of the Bachchans, has said she does not understand politics.

"Jaya does not understand politics and is giving support to those leaders who were earlier against her," the Rajya Sabha MP said yesterday at an Iftar party hosted by Saifee Samaj in Meerut.

Singh had recently said that his relationship with the Bachchan family is not the same.
