Intel report on Guj keeps cops on alert

The Central Intelligence Bureau on Thursday issued fresh terror alert making the Gujarat police put the state on high alert, especially in Ahmedabad and Jamnagar. The police have alerted all the three refineries in Jamnagar after the IB input.

Sources close to the development said that - Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab and Maharashtra, are put on high alert after an IB input.
"There are chances of a sea route attack on Maharashtra and Gujarat," a source said. Reliance, Essar and IOC refineries in Jamnagar have been put on high alert and the Jamnagar police have been kept on  alert.  Sources also said that the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) have conducted several meetings with the officials of all the three refineries and have enhanced security at these installations. Sources also said that, the Ahmedabad city have been especially put on alert due to the alert, as the city has been under the scanner of the terror outfits since 2002.
