A day after the startling revelation of sexual harassment and rape allegedly committed on her, the air-hostess of Indigo Airlines on Wednesday claimed that her ex-fiancé raped her on a number of occasions and filmed her in compromising positions at his house in Bopal. Bina (name changed), the victim, told the reporters at a press conference about her ordeal.

She alleged that the man she was engaged to and wanted to marry, started blackmailing and extorting money from her with the consent of his parents. According to the police, the girl has been raped by the accused at least 15 times and was filmed in compromising positions. The girl alleged that Parth Vasavda refused to marry her. He harassed her and kept asking her to bring money from her parents.

After a formal complaint was filed at the Sarkhej police station, the cops on Wednesday arrested Parth, Bina's fiancé. He was later produced before a magistrate for judicial custody.

In her complaint Bina has accused Parth of raping her for the last many months. The police, sensing the gravity of the matter, arrested Vasavada on Wednesday and produced him in court. Bina has also accused Parth's father and mother Ajit Vasavada and Dipti Vasavada, of abetting their son.

According to Bina, a month after the engagement, Parth took her to a temple near Sardar Patel Ring Road. She said that in the temple, Parth applied sindor (vermillion) on her forehead and assured her that they were now married.

"Then he took me to his bungalow at Bopal and immediately offered me a cold drink. The drink was mixed with some intoxicating substance. I only realized it when I awoke. When I asked him what had happened, he told me there was nothing wrong as we were now husband and wife," Bina said.

Parth's father Ajit Vasavada is reportedly a trainer working in the state government and teaches English to the cops in Gandhinagar.  Parth has only passed his 12th class and says that he is pursuing graduation and is in second year as an external student.
