Grenade found at roadside by security men in Manipur

A powerful grenade was found at a roadside in Imphal West district of Manipur, police said today.
   
The explosive was found by the road opening party (ROP) of 12th Maratha Light Infrantry personnel at Sagolband Moirang Hanuba Leirak area yesterday.
   
The grenade was planted near the house of one local businessman identified as Th Munindro, the police said.
   
It was later defused by experts.
