A minor girl was injured after being caught in crossfire between police and Naxals in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh today, police said.
 
The Naxals attacked a team of state police and ITBP jawans at Kohka village in Rajnandgaon district when they were on an area domination campaign. The police team retaliated the attack in which a girl who was passing by the site was injured after a bullet fired from Naxals side hit her, IG of Durg Range, RK Vij told PTI.
 
The girl was rushed to sector nine hospital of Bhilai, he said.
 
ITBP jawans and police had undertaken an area domination campaign following the visit of ITBP DG Ranjeet Kumar Bhatia to the site where three ITBP personnel were killed in a landmine blast triggered by Naxals yesterday, he said.
 
The outlaws had blown up a jeep of ITBP men in Rajnandgaon district yesterday when they were returning from neighbouring Maharashtra.
