Four months after avalanche, 2 bodies recovered in Kashmir's Doda

About four months after an avalanche struck a family in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, the army has recovered bodies of a man and his daughter, who were missing since the January 31 tragedy.

Bodies of Saja Begum and daughter Gulshan Begum were recovered last night from an avalanche site at Chaterpal area
in Bhderwah tehsil, police said today.

Six members of the family were on their way back home in Sungli area of the district when the avalanche hit them on Bhaderwah-Bani road leaving three of them missing.

The body of Gulam Hyder was recovered last week.
