First RJD Yuva conference on June 9

Yuva Rashtriya Janata Dal (YRJD) will hold its first conference here on June 9 in a bid to gauge the mood of the voters ahead of the November Bihar assembly polls.

The conference would discuss shooting prices, unemployment problem, black marketing of essential commodities and fertiliser, anomalies in preparation of BPL and APL lists and payment of wages under MNREGA in the different parts of the state, YRJD national president Alok Mehta told reporters here today.
     
The conference would be inaugurated by RJD president Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi would be the chief guest.
     
RJD youth presidents of 18 states including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Orissa, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Gujarat, West Bengal and Jharkhand would participate in the conference.
     
Mehta said about one lakh members of youth brigade of RJD would submit a signed memorandum to the party president on June 9 with a vow to overthrow NDA government in Bihar 'that is thriving on false promises being made to the people of the state.'
