Father stabbed to death by son in Jammu

In a shocking incident, a father was stabbed to death by his son after a verbal dual over a minor issue in border area of R S Pura, 30 kms from here, police said.

There was verbal dual between son Makhan Singh and father Bachan Singh over some minor issue in Dablar village of RS Pura border tehsil of Jammu district last night after which the irate son stabbed his father with a knife, they said.

The father was shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) hospital where he died, they said, adding that Makhan was arrested and a case has been registered against him.
