For apprehensive parents who are still looking for the right career choice to make for their wards and which country to send them for further studies, today could be their last chance.

The two-day education fair, 'Education Explora 10', organised by Divya Bhaskar, kickstarted on Saturday at Karnavati Club with parents and students both getting vital information on myriad courses, and foreign and Indian universities they can approach for the correct answers.

The fair, which has become a popular annual event of the Divya Bhaskar Group, attracted participants from various sectors of education who set up their stalls to offer diverse avenues to aspiring students.

The event was inaugurated by Mr P Nandkumaran, chief general manager of State Bank of India and Mr SK Das, general manager of Bank of Baroda.

The fair, which has an amalgam of 60 stalls, has on offer career options for students beginning from opportunities to study abroad, to promising career in animation and many, many more.

Speaking about the fair, Mr Amit Rao, director of Rao Group of Companies, said, "An education fair like this is an ideal choice for students as they get an idea not only about various career options but also about  various institutes and centres that offer a career of their choice.'' 

Mr Tarang Patel of Gateway added: "Such education fairs also give students an idea about careers which they have probably not heard of  or have not explored or understood. Fairs like these give them an idea of such unexplored areas."

Visitors at the fair to agree about this. Mr Ranjan Bhatt, a visitor who had come to the fair with his daughter said: "My daughter had heard from her friends who are pursuing animation as  a career but she had no idea where to go and what were the prospects in this field.'' He said by visiting this fair, she not only got an idea of the number of institutes providing courses on animation but also details about various types of animation and what specialisation she could take up if she wanted a career in this field.

Mr Hemant Agrawal of BitTrack said that the fair was like a platform for the students where they could think of different avenues and learn about their options, especially about the centres and institutes that provide them a career of their choice.
