Drive in Kolkata to remove hoardings from heritage buildings

Kolkata: The Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) has launched a drive to remove hoardings from heritage buildings in the city, it said today. Around 50 such hoardings were removed from the posh Park Street area in the city last night, KMC officials said.

The drive will continue till all such hoardings are removed from the city, they said adding that the advertising agencies have been informed of the KMC's decision.
