A teenage domestic help of a senior Haryana minister's relative was raped and threatened allegedly by their driver, the police said today.

Three bouncers were arrested yesterday for allegedly threatening the victim though Sunil Kumar, the rape accused, has managed to evade arrest.

Kumar, the driver, allegedly raped the 17-year-old girl at the MLA flats in Gurgaon a few days ago and threatened her yesterday in Vasant Vihar, where she was staying after the incident.

The girl was working as a domestic help at the house of a relative of the Haryana minister in Janpratinidhi Apartments. The house where the relatives were staying belongs to a former Haryana MLA.

On August 27, the driver allegedly raped her and threatened her, a senior police officer said.

"The relatives of the minister were not at home when the incident took place. She was staying with a friend. Kumar got her to the flat on some pretext and allegedly raped her," the officer said.

Soon after the incident, the official said, the girl left her workplace and started staying with one of her friends in Vasant Vihar. However, she did not reveal about the incident to anyone.

Last night, Kumar came to Vasant Vihar with his three friends who are bouncers and allegedly threatened her.

The victim's friend then called police who arrested Gautam, 22, Sandeep, 23, and Amardeep, 24, from the spot. Kumar managed to escape, the officer said.

The Delhi police took the girl to a hospital for medical examination which confirmed rape.

A case of criminal intimidation and molestation was registered against the trio at Vasant Vihar police station while a case of rape was lodged at DLF police station in Gurgaon against Kumar after the Delhi police informed them about the incident.

Gurgaon police commissioner SS Deswal said that the Gurgaon police has asked their Delhi counterparts to provide the copy of the medical examination report.

He said that the victim's statement was being recorded.
