Gandhian Anna Hazare's crusade against corruption has augured well for the nation and has also led to some changes in the RSS, Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh has said.

"Because of (Hazare's) crusade, RSS activists, who earlier used to sport black caps, had now switched over to wearing the white Gandhi cap," he told reporters here last evening.

Not only that, workers of the Nagpur-headquartered Sangh fountainhead are now carrying the tri-colour instead of the saffron flag, the senior Congressman said.

About L K Advani's proposed yatra against the menace of corruption, Singh said the veteran BJP leader should first take steps to contain graft in the saffron party-ruled states, including Madhya Pradesh.

The Congress General Secretary claimed there has been a decline in terrorist activities ever since P Chidambaram took over as Union Home Minister in late 2008.

Later, Singh, along with State Congress President Kantilal Bhuria, called on the new Madhya Pradesh Governor, Ram Naresh Yadav, and wished him a successful tenure in Raj Bhavan.
