CRPF man accidentally shoots himself

A CRPF constable got injured today when he accidentally shot himself while cleaning his service rifle here, the police said.

The incident occurred at a CRPF camp in Raj College where P Naga Saran, 25, was a constable of CRPF's 184 battalion.

The bullet hit him in the stomach, the sources said, adding that he was taken to a Kolkata hospital after initial treatment at a local hospital.
