Congress workers picket government offices in Kerala

Hundreds of Congress workers today picketed government offices in different parts of the state as part of the party's agitation against "LDF government's failure to check price rise and collapse of law and order".
    
Inaugurating the state-wide stir at nearby Nedumangad, Kerala PCC President Ramesh Chennithala said the LDF government was a "total failure" and wanted chief minister VS
Achuthanandan to resign.
    
Opposition leader Oommen Chandy said the common people were forgotten by the LDF government. Development activities in the state had come to a standstill due to the government's wrong priorities, he said.
    
No untoward incident was reported from any part of the state, police said.
    
Workers dispersed themselves in most places but in some areas they courted arrest, they said.
