The Ahmedabad Shaher Congress Sewadal organised a 'ramdhun' near Income Tax crossroads in the city on Thursday.
As conveyed by a press note, the 'ramdhun' was organised 'in prayer that good sense would prevail within the state BJP'.
The note said that under the BJP's rule in the state, law and order have gone for a toss, people are robbed and murdered in broad daylight, and women are not safe anymore. In order to protest the BJP's negligence towards important issues plaguing the state, the Congress organised this Gandhi ideology-inspired 'ramdhun' in the city, said the press note.
Ahmedabad Shaher Congress Samiti chief Pankaj Shah and several members of the Sewadal joined in the protest.
