Con-duo held in Danilimda

The Danilimda police arrested two people on Tuesday for duping people by promising them mortgage and personal loans.

According to sources, the duo, Rahul alias Naresh Sindhi (Khatri) and Mehul alias Yatin Trivedi used to place advertisements in newspapers assuring 100% loans.

They would then ask people to hand over their documents assuring them that their loan was sanctioned. Following this, they would ask for cheques in their names as payment. They made lakhs of rupees in this manner.

They used SIM cards issued in the name of their customers to contact them.

A complaint was filed against the duo by one Liaqat Khan based on which the police arrested the duo.
