Cold wave continues to sweep Punjab and Haryana

Patiala was the coldest place in Punjab at 4.4 degree Celsius, three notches below normal. Amritsar was equally cold at a low of 4.8 degree Celsius while the low at Ludhiana was 7.9 degree Celsius.

Cold conditions continued to prevail in many parts of Punjab and Haryana today with the mercury dipping below normal.

Patiala was the coldest place in Punjab at 4.4 degree Celsius, three notches below normal. Amritsar was equally cold at a low of 4.8 degree Celsius while the low at Ludhiana was 7.9 degree Celsius.

In Haryana, Hisar experienced a cold night at 5.6 degree Celsius, down one notch, while Narnaul registered a minimum of 5 degree Celsius, down one degree.

Cold conditions prevailed in Bhiwani as well, with the low settling at 5.6 degree Celsius, down two notches.

The minimum in Chandigarh settled at 7.7 degree Celsius, one above normal.
